Hi! I’m Tina, the textile artist, illustrator, and dinosaur sweater-crocheting extraordinaire behind the handmade home decor and plush toy brand, hi tree!

When I’m not making hi tree magic in my home-based studio, you can often find me there creating custom props, designs, and finished works for a wide range of commercial clients like Facebook, AT&T, T Mobile, Apple, Microsoft, Capital One and the NBA

And since magic is in such high demand, you might even find me creating custom product lines in collaboration with companies like Pottery Barn’s The Land of Nod, or delivering product photography services for brands like Spin Master and Fleur Marché.

Since launching hi tree in 2007, my work has been featured in some extra fun publications like Gathered, Crafty, and Stuffed Magazine, and as a fine artist, my artwork has been featured in a number of gallery shows including Manifest Hope DC, curated by Shepard Fairey to mark President Obama’s inauguration in 2008.

Aside from stabbing fabrics and knitting pretty things, I spend my time caring for my two sweet daughters, teaching classes to local school children, playing my banjo, tending to my hoard of house plants, and pasting googly eyes on random kitchen appliances.
